Delivery and Delivery Costs

Draft policy explaining that delivery costs are separate from ASD campaign prices and are covered by the buyer unless clearly stated otherwise.

Draft for lawyer review

This Delivery and Delivery Costs page is a draft structure for ASD. It should be reviewed by a qualified Cyprus/EU lawyer before publication, launch, or commercial use.

Key delivery rule

All delivery costs are covered by the buyer unless ASD clearly states otherwise in writing on a specific campaign page. The displayed campaign price should not be understood as including delivery, courier, installation, special handling, collection, or transport costs.

1. Introduction

This Delivery and Delivery Costs page explains how delivery may work for ASD product campaigns and who is responsible for delivery-related costs.

This page applies mainly to physical product campaigns, including furniture, appliances, electronics, lifestyle products, and any other product campaigns displayed on ASD.

This document is prepared as a draft structure and should be reviewed by a qualified Cyprus/EU lawyer before publication, launch, or commercial use.

2. Buyer responsibility for delivery costs

Unless ASD clearly states otherwise in writing on a specific campaign page, all delivery costs are covered by the buyer.

The displayed campaign price does not include delivery costs, courier fees, transport costs, installation fees, special handling fees, collection costs, storage costs, customs charges, or any other delivery-related costs unless expressly stated.

Before completing any product campaign, the buyer must confirm and accept any applicable delivery cost.

3. Delivery is separate from the campaign price

The campaign price shown on ASD is the price connected to the campaign item itself.

Delivery is treated as a separate cost unless the campaign page clearly states that delivery is included.

If delivery is required, the final payable amount may include the campaign item price plus delivery costs and any other buyer-paid charges.

4. Delivery arrangements

Delivery may be arranged by ASD, the seller, the supplier, a partner store, a courier company, or another third-party delivery provider.

The delivery method may depend on the product type, product size, delivery location, supplier location, courier availability, and any special handling requirements.

ASD may help coordinate delivery, but the final delivery process may depend on the seller, supplier, courier, or delivery partner.

5. Delivery locations

Delivery availability may depend on the buyer’s location and the location of the product.

Some campaigns may only be available for delivery within specific cities, districts, countries, or service areas.

If delivery is not available to the buyer’s location, the buyer may need to arrange collection, alternative transport, or another delivery solution at their own cost.

6. Delivery quotes

Delivery costs may be calculated after the buyer submits a claim and ASD reviews the campaign details.

Delivery quotes may depend on distance, item size, item weight, number of items, delivery urgency, courier pricing, access conditions, floor level, lift availability, installation needs, and special handling requirements.

Any delivery quote should be confirmed before the buyer proceeds with payment or final confirmation.

7. Large or heavy items

Some ASD product campaigns may involve large, heavy, fragile, or high-value items.

These items may require special delivery, additional handling, multiple delivery staff, lifting equipment, insurance, installation, or scheduled delivery.

Any extra cost connected to large, heavy, fragile, or special-delivery items is covered by the buyer unless ASD clearly states otherwise in writing.

8. Installation and assembly

Delivery does not automatically include installation, assembly, setup, wall mounting, electrical work, plumbing work, technical setup, or removal of old items.

If installation or assembly is available, it may be offered as a separate service and may involve an additional buyer-paid cost.

The buyer is responsible for confirming whether installation or assembly is included before proceeding.

9. Failed delivery attempts

If a delivery fails because the buyer is unavailable, provides incorrect details, refuses delivery, does not answer the courier, or does not provide access, additional delivery charges may apply.

Any cost connected to a failed delivery attempt caused by the buyer may be charged to the buyer.

The buyer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and being available at the agreed delivery time.

10. Delivery timing

Delivery timing may vary depending on product availability, supplier confirmation, courier availability, delivery location, payment confirmation, and operational requirements.

Any estimated delivery time is an estimate only unless ASD confirms a specific delivery commitment in writing.

ASD is not responsible for delivery delays caused by third-party couriers, suppliers, sellers, weather, traffic, strikes, customs, incorrect buyer information, access restrictions, or events outside ASD’s reasonable control.

11. Product inspection on delivery

The buyer should inspect the product at the time of delivery or collection where possible.

If the product appears damaged, incomplete, incorrect, or materially different from the confirmed campaign details, the buyer should notify ASD or the relevant seller as soon as possible.

The final inspection and complaint process should be confirmed in ASD’s final Terms and Conditions and Refund and Cancellation Policy before launch.

12. Collection instead of delivery

Some campaigns may allow or require collection instead of delivery.

If collection is required, the buyer may be responsible for arranging transport, loading, insurance, handling, and any related costs.

ASD, the seller, or the supplier may provide collection instructions after the claim is reviewed and approved.

13. Delivery and claim approval

Submitting a claim does not automatically mean that delivery has been arranged.

Delivery is only discussed or arranged after ASD reviews the claim and confirms the next steps.

A campaign may remain subject to product availability, buyer confirmation, delivery cost approval, payment completion, supplier confirmation, and any other relevant checks.

14. Delivery costs are non-subscription costs

ASD subscription fees do not cover delivery costs.

Delivery costs are separate from the ASD membership subscription and separate from the displayed campaign price unless expressly stated otherwise.

The buyer should expect delivery costs to be paid separately where delivery is required.

15. Third-party delivery providers

ASD may use third-party delivery providers, courier companies, suppliers, sellers, or partner stores to complete deliveries.

Third-party delivery providers may have their own terms, limitations, insurance rules, delivery timeframes, and liability policies.

ASD is not responsible for third-party delivery issues unless ASD expressly accepts responsibility in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.

16. International delivery

If ASD allows international delivery in the future, additional costs may apply.

These may include international courier fees, customs duties, VAT, import taxes, documentation fees, insurance, customs clearance fees, and other buyer-paid charges.

Unless ASD clearly states otherwise in writing, all international delivery costs and related import charges are covered by the buyer.

This Delivery and Delivery Costs page should be read together with ASD’s Terms and Conditions, Campaign Rules, Claim and Purchase Disclaimer, Purchase Taxes and Buyer Fees, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and Seller and Partner Terms.
